The reporter learned from the Beijing Internet Information Office on the 6th that recently, the Beijing Internet Information Office has been steadily advancing the “Clean and Remediate Webcast Reward Chaos” campaign to supervise the centralized rectification of local website platforms in response to four types of issues, including vulgar group broadcasts luring rewards, false personifications to trick rewards, inducing underage rewards, and stimulating users to give irrational rewards. Some typical cases reported by the Beijing Internet Information Office show that in terms of tempting rewards for vulgar group broadcasts, accounts such as “xgnh,” “YC - Lucky Fortune,” and “Chasing Dreams June Personal Monthly Assessment Contest” use vulgar gameplay such as flopping a princess, touching people, and hitting the bottom of the foot during the live broadcast to induce users to be rewarded. The relevant accounts have been permanently banned or indefinitely revoked live streaming rights in the live broadcast room. In terms of false personas to deceive rewards, accounts such as “Weimeng Talk”, “Single Yuanyuan” and “Jiang Shangyue” create false personalities such as “poor households” and “elite returnees from overseas” to trick users into interacting and rewarding. The relevant accounts have been banned in accordance with the law or have indefinitely withdrawn live streaming rights. In terms of inducing minors to give rewards, accounts such as “Yi Duoduo” dress up as minors to broadcast live broadcasts to guide users to give; accounts such as “Lianlian 1” and “Zhen Zhen 1” know that users are minors and still don't stop or even induce them to give rewards. The relevant accounts have been granted global streaming restrictions or indefinitely revoked live streaming rights in accordance with the law. In terms of stimulating irrational rewards from users, live streaming platform lists such as “**Value List” and “Gift** List” have issues where the sole basis of recharge rewards is used to rank anchors and stimulate irrational user rewards. The Internet Communications Department has already interviewed relevant live streaming platforms in accordance with the law and requested that illegal lists be removed, list rules adjusted, and functional gameplay standardized. The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Internet Information Office said that the next step will be to continue to further promote special management, supervise territorial website platforms to fulfill their main responsibilities, improve management systems and live streaming reward rules, and jointly build a good webcast ecosystem.
