According to a press release from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Hong Kong Transport Department said today that in response to the unblocking of some road sections in the Tai Po district, some affected franchised bus routes have resumed their original routes. The section of Tai Po Road - Yuen Chau Tsai section between Kwong Wang Street and Tolo Harbour Highway; the section of Tai Po Road - Yuen Chau Tsai section between Kwong Fu Park and Huangyueju; and the branch road leading to the Tai Po Highway - Yuen Chau Tsai section of the Tolo Highway was unblocked late yesterday night. All affected bus routes bound for Tai Po will resume their original routes, but they will still need to be diverted towards Kowloon. Among them, KMB routes 72, 72A, 73A and 74A have resumed running on the Tai Po Highway - Yuen Chau Tsai section and Tai Po Road - Tai Po Kau section starting with the first bus today.
