On December 5, at the 2025 Academician Study, Education and Certification Ceremony held by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chen Yong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Engineer of China Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., explained that at present, 174 C909 aircraft have been delivered, accounting for more than 60% of domestic regional passenger aircraft; operating overseas in 12 countries, safely carrying more than 30 million passengers.
