On Thursday local time, Microsoft said it will raise the Microsoft 365 month subscription price for commercial and government customers globally starting July 2026. Plans covering enterprises, the public sector, and frontline workers have been adjusted. Among them, the increase in packages for small businesses and frontline workers is the most obvious. In the enterprise version, Microsoft 365 E3 will increase by about 8.3% to $39 per user per month, and E5 will increase by about 5.3% to $60 per user per month; the first-line employee packages F1 and F3 will increase from $2.25 and $8 to $3 and $10, respectively, with increases of 33% and 25%. Microsoft said this price adjustment reflects the more than 1,100 new features Microsoft 365 has added in the past few years, including generative AI-driven productivity tools and richer security capabilities.
