I learned from the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration that recently, the National Lithium Battery Material and Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center officially passed the on-site inspection organized by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration. According to the relevant person in charge of the National Lithium Battery Quality Inspection Center, the center has built a complete inspection system with “serving the needs of the industry” as the core. It has more than 1,000 CMA certifications and CNAS accreditations, and is equipped with high-end precision instruments such as field emission electron microscopes, electrochemical X-ray diffractometers, and thermal insulation calorimeters, as well as large-scale key equipment such as high-voltage high-current charging/discharging test systems, power battery extrusion acupuncture equipment, and walk-in low air pressure test chambers, which can achieve accurate inspection from “material microstructure analysis” to “battery safety performance verification”. The scope of testing covers the physico-chemical and electrical properties of lithium battery materials, the performance and reliability of lithium batteries, and the physico-chemical and electrical properties of cascaded batteries and recycled materials, to fully meet the needs of the entire life cycle of industrial R&D, production, quality control and recycling. Testing capabilities span the complete industrial life cycle from forward-looking material research and development to green recycling, achieving seamless coverage from micromechanism to system safety to recycling.
