The “Beijing Olympic Center Robot Innovation Park Planning and Construction Plan” jointly formulated by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and Chaoyang District was officially released. Relying on the unique spatial resources of the Olympic Center Area and the “Double Olympics” brand advantages, it clarified five major functional positions, including a national humanoid robot training base, an R&D and innovation enabling base, an industry-education integration demonstration base, an open gathering base for application scenarios, and an international exchange and cooperation base, making every effort to build a robot innovation park. The future will closely focus on building two main lines around the “Double Olympic Heritage” empowerment and ecology, focusing on the three aspects of planning and leading, focusing on tasks, and strengthening mechanisms. The “Plan” clearly aims to build a number of benchmark platforms by 2030, form a replicable scene system, and turn the Robot Innovation Park into an influential global robotics innovation highland by 2035.
