Lee Jae-myung said that South Korea will “continue to show a gentle attitude, such as interrupting broadcasts to North Korea and minimising military actions that may cause misunderstandings.” Referring to North Korea-US relations, Lee Jae-myung said that South Korea will make every effort to create conditions for dialogue between North Korea and the US, and that improving North Korea-US relations will help resolve or ease the Korean Peninsula issue. He also said that full discussions can be held on topics such as joint military exercises between South Korea and the US, which will help the United States and North Korea to begin dialogue and consultations.
