At the World Anti-Doping Agency Executive Committee meeting held in Busan, South Korea on the 2nd, the Shanghai Doping Testing Laboratory of Shanghai Sport University obtained World Anti-Doping Agency laboratory certification. The Shanghai Doping Testing Laboratory is the second doping testing laboratory in China to be approved by WADA after the Beijing Doping Testing Laboratory. Since then, China has become the fourth country in the world to have two WADA accredited laboratories after the United States, Germany, and Spain.
