From December 2 to 5, the 2025 China International Maritime Technology Academic Conference and Exhibition, known as the “Global Maritime Industry Weather Vane”, was held in Shanghai. The theme of this year's exhibition is “Innovation and Cooperation to Promote the Sustainable Development of Maritime Industry”. The exhibition area exceeded 110,000 square meters for the first time, attracting more than 2,200 companies from more than 40 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition, reaching a record high in scale. At this year's maritime exhibition, a number of innovative domestic technologies were showcased. With the direction of “building a full-chain low-carbon ecosystem”, it covers various fields such as green power, intelligent systems, and robot applications, showing the overall progress of China's shipping technology. The first domestic 5,500 horsepower ammonia-powered port operation vessel completed navigation tests, marking important progress in the practical application of clean fuels. At the same time, the self-developed methanol dual-fuel burner obtained the first type approval certificate for this type of product from the China Classification Society, which solved the key problem of localizing green ship equipment.
