Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation officially issued the “Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the First Trial of Low-altitude Applications in the Transportation Sector in Zhejiang Province”, which regards low-altitude applications as an important gripper for promoting the transformation and upgrading of the transportation industry and cultivating new quality productivity in the transportation sector. Among them, it was mentioned that an urban low-altitude logistics network will be built, and a drone express takeout delivery service and a “low altitude+medical transportation” delivery model will be piloted. Build a low-altitude logistics trunk network with mutual access between cities and counties and the balance between urban and rural areas, set up cross-regional low-altitude logistics routes according to the plan, connect ground logistics hubs, carry out intercity short- and short-distance low-altitude logistics transportation, strengthen connections and transfers with other modes of transportation, actively expand low-altitude logistics routes across provinces in the Yangtze River Delta, and promote the large-scale development of low-altitude logistics.
