According to the new regulations, students must put their smartphones and watches in designated storage spaces such as lockers or school bags when in school. Schools may allow students to use smartphones if necessary. Furthermore, in order to encourage students to go to bed as early as possible, the Ministry of Education of Singapore will also adjust the settings of the management application on middle school students' personal learning electronic devices starting January next year, and the automatic shutdown time will be brought forward from 11:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
