The Zhitong Finance App learned that Amazon AWS will host its annual Re:Invent 2025 conference in Las Vegas from December 1 to 5. Bank of America expects the company to showcase its latest advances in artificial intelligence, including the latest specifications of the Trainium3 chip and its Nova series models. Bank of America rated Amazon as a “buy” with a target price of $303.

Bank of America will pay particular attention to how these products compete with Google's TPU and Gemini series. Investors will also be able to learn more about the partnership between AWS and OpenAI.

Bank of America analysts led by Justin Post said in an investor report on Monday, “With OpenAI's recent commitment to invest $38 billion in leasing AWS computing resources, and Anthropic's model now covering all major cloud platforms, we think a natural progression would be for OpenAI to add its cutting-edge model APIs to AWS's Bedrock platform.”

Post added, “Even without the release of OpenAI, AWS may make announcements with other chip companies (for production capacity or Trainium development) or AI companies, as partnerships with big language model APIs are expanding throughout the ecosystem.”

AWS is also expected to reveal more details about its upcoming Trainium3 AI accelerator. According to reports, the chip's computing power is twice that of Trainium 2, and the energy efficiency is increased by about 50%.

“Although the Trainium business has grown significantly so far (it has now become a multi-billion dollar business, growing 150% month-on-month in the third quarter of 2025), Amazon says that Trainium is currently only used by 'a few very large customers', and with the launch of Trainium 3, it will be able to accommodate more customers,” Post said.

AWS CEO Matt Garman will deliver the keynote address at this year's Re:Invent conference on Tuesday, December 2. The conference will also include presentations from companies such as Nike (NKE.US), Blue Origin, Netflix (NFLX.US), Adobe (ADBE.US), Condé Nast, Sony (SONY.US), Perplexity, and TwelveLabs.
