It was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on July 13, 2024. The total investment of the project is about 800 million yuan. The plan is to set up 8 seat aprons, configure 3 boarding bridges, build a 9,000-square-meter terminal, renovate and expand a 2,600-meter-long and 50-meter-wide runway, and support the construction of a taxiway system, platform, etc. The design targets are 900,000 passengers and 3,600 tons of cargo and mail in 2030; 2.8 million passengers and 7,800 tons of cargo and mail in 2050.
