MSCI November Index Review Change Results Announced! 26 stocks including Zijin Gold International (02259) and Ganfeng Lithium (01772) were selected for the MSCI China Index

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on November 6, the international index compilation company MSCI announced the results of the November index review changes. In this adjustment, 26 new targets have been added to the MSCI China Index, including many gold and other resource stocks such as Zijin Gold International (02259), Ganfeng Lithium (01772), and Xinlian Integration-U (688469.SH), as well as technology companies such as semiconductors and high-end manufacturing; the MSCI China A-share index has added 17 new targets, including Dongyangguang (600673.SH) and Huahong (688347.SH). The results of this adjustment will take effect after the market closes on November 24, 2025.

Specifically, 26 new targets were added to the MSCI China Index, excluding 20 targets, including 17 A shares including Kaiying Network (002517.SZ), Changying Precision (300115.SZ), and Invec (002837.SZ), as well as 9 Hong Kong stocks including Zijin Gold International (02259), Ganfeng Lithium (01772), GF Securities (01776), and China Nonferrous Mining (01258). Four Hong Kong stocks, including Beijing Holdings Water Group (00371), China Everbright Bank (06818), and China Resources Pharmaceuticals (03320), and 16 A shares, including Bethel (603596.SH), were excluded.

In addition to the MSCI China Index, the list of constituent stocks of the MSCI China A-share Index has also been adjusted, with 17 additional constituent stocks and 16 excluded. Companies added include Qianli Technology (601777.SH), Dongyangguang (600673.SH), and Changchuan Technology (300604.SZ); excluded companies include Zhongzhi Co., Ltd. (600038.SH), Donga Ejiao (000423.SZ), and Radio and Television Express (002152.SZ).

Also, from a global perspective, the announcement shows that 69 new stocks were added to the MSCI Global Standards Index (ACWI), and 64 stocks were excluded. The newly included stocks with the largest total market capitalization in the MSCI Global Standard Index include cloud service startup CoreWeave, artificial intelligence and cloud computing service provider Nebius Group, and biopharmaceutical company Insmed. Among the new constituents of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, the top three stocks by total market capitalization are Indonesian renewable energy company Barito Renewables Energy, Zijin Gold International, and GF Securities.
