Bohai Automobile announced that on October 14, 2025, BAIC Motor Group Co., Ltd., the indirect controlling shareholder of the company, received the “Response from the Beijing Municipal People's Government State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Committee on Matters Relating to the Major Asset Reorganization of Bohai Automobile Systems Co., Ltd.” issued by the Beijing Municipal Assets Administration Commission, agreeing in principle to Bohai Automobile's overall plan to purchase some of Hainachuan's assets and raise supporting capital by issuing shares and paying cash. The transaction still needs to be reviewed by the company's shareholders' meeting and approved by the competent supervisory authority before it can be officially implemented.
