China's first self-service cultural tourism consumption system for foreign tourists, the “Meet China Inbound Travel Consumption Digital Screen”, was launched in Shanghai on the 27th to help foreign tourists meet the four core consumer needs of “understand in seconds, choose in seconds, see at second, and pay in seconds.” The system helps foreign tourists achieve self-service throughout the process from “interest” to “completion of purchase” by integrating product shopping guides, storytelling, multi-lingual interaction, and convenient payment with overseas bank cards. It will gradually be rolled out across the country. Shanghai is expected to set up 500 large screens, involving attractions such as Tianzifang, The Bund, and Nanjing Road. By the end of next year, it is expected that 10,000 sets of large screens will be installed across the country.
