Zhifei Biotech announced that the CA111 injection developed by the holding subsidiary Chenan Biotech has obtained a drug clinical trial approval notice from the State Drug Administration and agreed to conduct clinical trials in adult overweight or obese patients. CA111 injection is a dual agonist of glucose-dependent insulin-releasing peptide receptor and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor. Compared with similar single-target drugs, the synergistic complementarity of dual agonists can effectively reduce the side effects of administration. Currently, only tiverpotide injections have been approved for marketing in China, and no other domestic products with the same target have been approved for marketing.
