Such acts not only seriously infringe on consumers' rights and interests, but also infringe on the intellectual property rights of relevant enterprises, disrupt the fair order of the market, and cause adverse effects. Based on Douyin e-commerce related rules, the platform has carried out special control actions. Up to now, more than 200 illegal merchants and more than 600 offending experts have been removed, and related products have all been removed from the Douyin Mall Select Alliance. The reporter noticed that typical cases of irregularities disclosed by Douyin include selling counterfeit goods to impersonate authentic products, serious discrepancies with actual products, overtime delivery, non-delivery and fraudulent delivery, refusal of reasonable returns and freight disputes, scarce hype, and diverting third parties.
