The Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 20, Gangzai Robotics (00370) joined hands with Guangdong Tiantai Robotics, Shandong Future Robotics, and Shandong Future Data Technology to jointly sign the world's first order agreement for 10,000 self-made intelligent humanoid robots. This order was the largest in the humanoid robot industry. At the same time, it enabled the actual implementation of the humanoid robot and realized large-scale commercial use, opening up a market example for the industry.

According to the agreement, it is expected that at least 10,000 humanoid robots for home rehabilitation will be delivered by the end of 2026, while Gangzai Robotics will be mainly responsible for the R&D, production, and delivery of robots and the end-to-end integration of robots with the robot's body. At the same time, all parties to the order will advance the implementation of the project in stages, complete the development of first-generation product prototypes in 2025, achieve mass production of 50,000 units in 2026, and increase production capacity with additional investment.

Gangzai Robotics has software and hardware advantages in the field of humanoid robots. Since March of this year, it has quickly completed the humanoid robot business layout by introducing the industry's unicorn Dahan as a strategic partner.

In the field of intelligent ecology, its application scenarios have covered four major scenarios: property, medical care, education and commerce. In mid-June of this year, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with four companies, American Health, Abundance Life Services, Tiantong Technology, and Deutsche Bank World to begin the path of order-driven commercialization.

At the beginning of July, the company announced that it had signed an order purchase agreement with Tonghong Security for no less than 1,000 units. According to the procurement cooperation agreement, the number of self-contained intelligent security robots purchased in Hong Kong within two years from the date of the procurement cooperation agreement will be no less than 1,000 units, with a total contract amount of RMB 300 million. This time, it has once again received huge orders, and the company will benefit from being driven by orders and continue to release performance.

In fact, embodied intelligence and humanoid robots have become strategic emerging and future industries in China and the world.
