South Korea's ETNews reported today that sources confirmed that Apple will not release the “iPhone 18” basic model next year. With Apple replacing the Plus model with the Air/Slim this year, and adding the first folding screen iPhone next year, the next-generation iPhone product line will expand next year, and Apple will adjust the product lineup layout of this series as a result. A number of people familiar with the matter said, “Apple plans to launch an entry-level iPhone digital basic version and e model in the first half of the year, and launch four high-end flagship models, including folding screens, in the second half of the year to adjust the product line. Therefore, the release of the basic model next year will be temporarily delayed.”
