The communiqué said that at a time when the whole country is committed to consolidating national sovereignty and cracking down on terrorist forces in the Sahel region, these people are trying to disrupt Mali's reconstruction process with the help of “some foreign forces.” When officials of the transitional government of Mali read out the communiqué on national television on the same day, the television footage showed the avatars, names, and positions of 11 suspects, including two Brigadier Generals Abbas Dembele and Neyma Sagara.
