Hebei is making every effort to promote communication infrastructure construction and network carrying energy levels. By the end of June this year, the number of rural broadband users in the province had jumped from 4.259,000 households in 2015 to 14.920 million, an increase of 250.3%, and the number of rural broadband users ranked third in the country. Over the past 10 years, Hebei has built 24.236 million rural broadband access ports, ranking fifth in the country. During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Hebei continued to promote the construction of “dual gigabit” networks in rural areas. The province achieved the “5G township access” target ahead of schedule, and the 5G network coverage rate in administrative villages reached 93.0%.
