On August 5, the first batch of 8 automated orbital container crane equipment manufactured by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group was officially shipped to the site of the first fully automatic empty container three-dimensional warehouse project invested and built by Ningbo Huihaitong, marking that the project has officially entered the equipment installation and commissioning stage. The three-dimensional warehouse covers an area of about 49,000 square meters. It uses a double-layer stacking design and holds 25,920 standard boxes, which can greatly improve the turnover efficiency of empty boxes. The project is equipped with 24 automated orbital container crane equipment, plans 12 roadways and 12 loading and unloading operations, and can carry out 12 container loading and unloading tasks at the same time. The equipment uses automatic license plate recognition technology to accurately guide various work vehicles such as external collection cards, internal collection cards, AGVs, etc., to achieve fully automatic access box operation, and the efficiency and accuracy are significantly improved. Subsequent equipment will arrive in batches, be installed using ground assembly and overall hoisting, and complete the joint operation of stand-alone machines and automated systems to ensure stable operation.
