The Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 7, Citigroup announced the appointment of Zhu Weiyuan, Lenny Chu Luen-Yuan as the head of Global Network Banking (GNB) business in China. The appointment will take effect on August 11.

According to reports, Lenny Chu has worked for HSBC for nearly 20 years. After taking office, he will be responsible for providing corporate banking services to multinational companies in China. This business segment is an important part of Citibank's global business.

Citigroup China Corporate Banking Director Chirs Wen said that China is one of Citi's most important GNB markets, and Lenny will work closely with internal partners and stakeholders to drive business growth.
