The Zhitong Finance App learned that Goldman Sachs published a research report reaffirming the “neutral” rating of Onsemi Semiconductors (ON.US), with a target price of $60.

The current rating is based on the latest quarterly financial statements announced by Ansemi Semiconductors. According to the data, the company achieved earnings of 0.53 US dollars per share in the second quarter, in line with analysts' expectations; revenue of 1.47 billion US dollars for the quarter slightly exceeded market expectations of 1.45 billion US dollars. Goldman Sachs analysts pointed out that prior to the release of earnings reports, investors' expectations were already at a low level, and market position strategies generally tend to be cautious.

The research report predicts that Ansemi Semiconductor's stock price may show a “moderate correction” trend after the earnings report is released. Goldman Sachs emphasized that in the future, investors should focus on corporate management's interpretation of order trends in the industrial and automotive sectors, potential demand forecasting possibilities, and forward-looking statements on channel inventory.
