Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 17, HyCEE Pte Ltd (HyCEE), a Singaporean joint venture under Guofu Hydrogen Energy (02582), officially signed a cooperation agreement with Singapore Green Energy Investment Holdings Private Limited (GEIH). The two sides will cooperate to build the first 200kg/day green hydrogen refueling station in Singapore to initially provide hydrogenation services for garbage trucks, and is expected to expand into ports, logistics and public transportation in the future.
The project will be a project company jointly established by GEIH and HyCee. The two sides will give full play to their respective advantages and jointly promote the implementation of the project. GEIH will use its biomass hydrogen production plant in Singapore to be responsible for the project's green hydrogen supply and the operation and maintenance of the hydrogen production system. HyCee, on the other hand, will be responsible for site selection, design, construction and operation of the hydrogen refueling station to ensure the smooth progress of the project. Through this cooperation, the two sides will work together to achieve carbon reduction and sustainable development goals in Singapore's transportation sector.
GEIH is a subsidiary of H2G Green Ltd, a Singapore-listed company. H2G's business is mainly renewable energy solutions: it is committed to developing and promoting renewable energy technologies, such as solar and wind energy, to provide customers with clean and sustainable energy solutions. GEIH focuses on hydrogen energy solutions, and its most important project in Singapore is bio-hydrogen production in western Singapore. This hydrogen fueling station cooperation follows Guofu Hydrogen Energy's signing of a basic engineering design contract with GEIH for the Singapore biochar synthesis gas hydrogen extraction project in 2024 to further deepen cooperation and jointly expand the downstream application market in the hydrogen industry chain after providing it with hydrogen energy solutions and supplying related process equipment.
This cooperation marks a key step forward in Guofu Hydrogen Energy's layout of the Southeast Asian hydrogen energy market. Guofu Hydrogen Energy's electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, liquid hydrogen storage and transportation solutions, and in-vehicle hydrogen supply systems will be applied and verified in Singapore's climatic conditions. The two sides innovatively adopted the “waste hydrogen production and vehicle operation collaboration” model, which not only provided new solutions for carbon reduction in the environmental protection and transportation sectors in Singapore, but also established a green benchmark image for Guofu Hydrogen Energy in the global hydrogen energy industry chain. Subsequently, the two sides will follow the relevant guidance of the Singapore Government and steadily carry out safety assessments, environmental permit applications, and demonstration operation plans to promote the smooth implementation of the project.
