The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 15, the Information Office of the State Council held a “Struggler on a New Journey” Chinese and foreign press conference, inviting representatives of private entrepreneurs to meet and exchange views with Chinese and foreign reporters on “promoting entrepreneurship and being outstanding builders of socialist causes with Chinese characteristics.” At the meeting, Wang Xingxing, founder and CEO of Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd., said that the company has always been convinced that general-purpose robots, along with GM AI, will become the mainstream route for future technology. In recent years, everyone has noticed that humanoid robots are very popular at home and abroad, and everyone has invested a lot of energy in their development. Needless to say, the industry is currently in a relatively early stage, so you can be patient.
Wang Xingxing believes that in the next 3 to 5 years, humanoid robot applications will get faster and faster. Currently, there are some application scenarios. Many domestic and foreign companies, including our company, have seen a marked increase in humanoid robot shipments, and rescue and disaster relief scenarios in the service industry, household use, industrial scenarios, and dangerous scenarios. Currently, it can't be said that it will be very fast. All of a sudden, large-scale application and large-scale promotion will take some time, but he thinks it's still very fast. Now it is a very valuable thing to give full play to everyone's respective advantages, jointly promote the advancement of humanoid robot technology, and promote the development of the entire industry. A win-win situation around the world can be achieved.
Liu Baiqi, founder and chairman of Beijing Galaxy Power Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., said that he has two ideas about the future of commercial aerospace. On the one hand, larger and more powerful launch vehicles are being developed. For example, the rocket under development, Zhishen 2, is a large, reusable launch vehicle with a basic carrying capacity of 20 tons and a bundled configuration with a carrying capacity of 60 tons. Through modular design, different modular combinations are adapted to different space launch missions such as low orbit, high orbit, and deep space exploration, and can be reused, which can greatly reduce space launch costs. In the future, with the continuous improvement of reusable technology, this rocket will also develop in the direction of intelligence and flight.
Second, Galaxy Power Aerospace Science and Technology is expanding other businesses based on rocket technology. For example, in the fields of expanding in-orbit services, in-orbit tests, etc., we plan to jointly develop space tourism business with some partners. We hope to have the opportunity to participate in major projects such as national deep space exploration, use the company's technology to expand more commercial business, and make more contributions to the high-quality development of commercial space in China.
The transcript is as follows:
Wang Shi, Information Bureau, Information Office of the State Council:
Good afternoon, all reporters and friends. Welcome to the “Strugglers on a New Journey” Chinese and foreign press conference at the Information Office of the State Council. On February 17 this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping attended the private enterprise symposium and delivered an important speech, fully affirming the major achievements made in private economic development and important contributions to the country's economic and social development, and made comprehensive arrangements to promote the healthy development and high-quality development of the private economy at present and in the coming period, and calling on the vast majority of private enterprises and private entrepreneurs to firmly become builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics and promoters of Chinese-style modernization.
Today, we are very happy to invite 5 representatives of private entrepreneurs to talk with everyone about “promoting entrepreneurship and being outstanding builders of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics”. Let me first introduce a few representatives. They are Mr. Wang Xingxing, founder and CEO of Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd.; Mr. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Shandong Weiqiao Venture Group Co., Ltd.; Ms. Wang Zhen, President of Inner Mongolia Erdos Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd.; Mr. Liu Baiqi, founder and chairman of Beijing Xinghe Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Liu Changyun, Chairman of Jiuzhou Tong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.
Let's first ask the five delegates to briefly introduce themselves, and first ask Mr. Wang Xingxing.
Wang Xingxing, Founder and CEO of Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co., Ltd.:
Hello everyone, I'm Wang Xingxing, founder of Yushu Technology. Our company was founded in 2016, and it has been almost 9 years since then. Every year in the past, step by step, we have achieved some results. Our company mainly makes high-performance four-legged robots and humanoid robots. It has also achieved some results in the past, and many technical indicators are currently at the leading level in the world. Through our efforts, we hope to truly promote robots to various application scenarios, whether in the industrial, service, or consumer fields, and we hope to promote technological progress and product progress in the whole society through our joint efforts. Thank you all.
Master Wang:
Establish a national history of science and technology, and carry out a new mission for the younger generation. Next, please ask Mr. Zhang Bo.
Zhang Bo, Chairman of Shandong Weiqiao Venture Group Co., Ltd.:
Hello media friends, I am Zhang Bo from Weiqiao Venture Group. Weiqiao Venture Group originated as a small oilcloth processing plant in Shandong. After decades of development, the group has grown into a comprehensive multinational enterprise with 100,000 employees, and has been continuously selected as one of the world's top 500 since 2012. The main business focuses on the two traditional manufacturing sectors of the textile and aluminum industries, which are traditional manufacturing industries. Of course, we are now also actively expanding into emerging fields such as new energy, new materials, and automotive lightweighting. As an enterprise that grew up after the reform and opening up, Wei Qiao's development was inseparable from the support of the Party and the state, and the hard work and struggle of all employees. We are committed to improving and strengthening the traditional manufacturing industry and contributing to China's economic development. In the future, the Group will continue to deeply cultivate the real economy and strive to show our greater achievements in high-quality development. We also welcome all media friends to visit Weiqiao Venture Group. Thank you all.
Master Wang:
Show the original intention of starting a business for the country and take charge of the exhibition for the benefit of the people. Next, I will ask Ms. Wang Zhen to give an introduction.
Wang Zhen, President of Inner Mongolia Ordos Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd.:
Hello everyone, media friends. I'm Wang Zhen, from the Inner Mongolia Ordos Group. I'm very happy to be here today to share with you my story of growing up with the company. I am the same age as the Ordos company. I grew up in the factory area of a cashmere sweater factory. When I was a kid, I saw that cashmere that was white and soft like a cloud was spun into a yarn, and these yarns were woven into a beautiful sweater during the shuttle. I felt very amazing. It can be said that I had a “pure cashmere” childhood. Although I studied science and technology in college, and after graduation, I worked for a strategic management company for two years like many of my classmates, but I still couldn't suppress my heartfelt love and yearning for cashmere, so I founded 1436, a high-end cashmere brand in 2006. We have the best cashmere in the world in China, so I wonder why can't we have the best cashmere brand comparable to the world's top brands? Later, I took over the Group's cashmere business and other businesses, and began to promote the reshaping, renewal, and fashion upgrading of the Ordos series of brands, and promoted the company's major strategic changes, organizational changes, and technical research. Now I am making every effort to promote the systematic upgrading of the Group's cashmere clothing and electric metallurgy sectors.
I feel very lucky as a second-generation entrepreneur. Being able to promote each other and grow together with a company is a very happy thing. Thank you.
Master Wang:
Set up women's ambitions and build a world brand. Next, I'll ask Mr. Liu Baiqi to give an introduction.
Liu Baiqi, founder and chairman of Beijing Galaxy Power Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.:
Hello everyone, I'm Liu Baiqi, founder of Galaxy Dynamics. My PhD graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. After graduation, I first stayed at the university to work as a teacher, then transferred my job to the China Launch Vehicle Technology Research Institute to do technical work. In 2018, in response to the country's call for “double innovation,” I decided to start a business and co-founded Galaxy Power, a private rocket building enterprise with my team. Our business model is to use a rocket developed by ourselves to launch the customer's satellite into space, and then charge launch service fees, freight, etc. You can also understand that our company is a company that “delivers express delivery” to space. The market we are facing is a market such as low-orbit satellites and the Internet.
According to relevant statistics, tens of thousands of such satellites may enter space in the next 10 years, which provides huge market demand for special space vehicles such as rockets. According to market demand, our company has deployed a total of two series and four models of launch vehicles, Ceres and Psychus. If we compare the means of transportation on the ground, it is equivalent to our cars and buses. The carrying capacity ranges from a few hundred kilograms to several tons or tens of tons. In the future, they can be reused, which can greatly reduce costs. Up to now, it has completed 19 rocket launch missions and launched 81 satellites into space. We have also become the domestic private rocket company with the most number of launches and the highest success rate.
While we have achieved some results in the past, there are still many challenges ahead. Today, I am very happy to share our entrepreneurial stories and ideas with you on this occasion.
Master Wang:
Work hard to pursue your dreams and aim high for the future. Next, Mr. Liu Changyun will be invited to give an introduction.
Liu Changyun, Chairman of Jiuzhou Tong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.:
Hello everyone, I am Liu Changyun, Chairman of Kyushu-dori Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and I am a doctor of law. I joined Kyushu-dori in 2017. At the time, many people were curious to ask me, how can you manage Kyushu-dori Pharmaceutical Group across industries as a J.D.? At the time, I had several aspects in mind: First, I came from a rural area, and since I was a child, I saw that there was still a lot of room for improvement in medical care in rural areas. Kyushu Street was mainly aimed at providing medical services to rural areas, and this company was an ideal choice in my mind. Second, I've always felt that the health industry, as a Chaoyang industry, is a trillion-dollar industry, and the prospects for development are relatively good. Third, I have been involved in risk control management since I joined the job. I think for an enterprise, the law is not only a powerful tool for protecting the legitimate rights and interests of an enterprise, but also a guarantee for an enterprise to build a modern risk control system and protect the enterprise's steady and far-sighted journey. Kyushu Express was developing rapidly at the time, and corporate governance also had risk control requirements. I joined Kyushu-dori for these reasons. In previous years, I was mainly responsible for risk control management. The group changed in 2020. Considering my performance in the group at the time and the future development needs of the group, I took over as the group chairman and explored the transformation from founder team governance to professional manager team governance. After more than 4 years of governance upgrades, our group has achieved steady high-quality development. Thank you all.
Master Wang:
A new model of enterprise development, where professionals do professional work.
Thank you to the 5 delegates for their presentations. Let's move on to the questioning session. Please inform your news agency before asking questions.
CCTV Reporter from China Central Radio and Television:
General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that private economic development has broad prospects and great potential, and that the time is right for the vast majority of private enterprises and private entrepreneurs to make a big difference. Excuse me, what moment or experience of entrepreneurs made you feel the most “promising” and “right time” on the way to starting a business? How do you look forward to the future development of private enterprises and the private economy?
Wang Xingxing:
I really have a deep feeling that “there is much to be done” and that “the time is right”. Our company released the G1 humanoid robot last year. Since its release, it has received widespread attention from all over the world. Everyone is also willing to purchase our robot. This year's shipment volume has increased significantly compared to last year. Not only for our company, but for the robotics industry as a whole, the growth rate in the first half of this year was very rapid, and the trend of technological development was very obvious. I am full of confidence in private economic development. Because we have good policies and good soil, this gives everyone more confidence to invest in R&D and production, and make more new products and technologies for the future.
Thank you all.
Zhang Bo:
Thank you for your question. For me, the moment I can feel the “great potential” and “right time” was the commissioning of our second green aluminum industrial base in Yunnan on July 9, because this is a major step for the Group to implement a green transformation in response to China's call for green, low-carbon, and high-quality development. Starting in 2019, we transferred more than 2 million tons of electrolytic aluminum production capacity from Shandong to Yunnan, using Yunnan's rich hydropower resources to turn coal power production into hydropower production and achieve a green transformation. This initiative not only greatly increased our group's share of green energy, but also greatly reduced the total carbon emissions in the production process. At the same time, it also contributed to the economic development of Yunnan, because the development of the western region needs to be driven by industry. What makes me even more happy is that it has achieved a good situation where society, enterprises, and people develop together.
When it comes to the development of private enterprises in China, the prospects for the development of private enterprises in China are very broad, and I am full of confidence in the prospects for China's private economic development. I believe that with the joint efforts of our private entrepreneurs, there will be more and more moments when private enterprises are “just right” and “have great potential”. Thank you.
Wang Zhen:
I also talk about my feelings. What excites me is not a specific moment of glory, but rather our country's continuous introduction of good policies for private economic development. Looking back at the key points of the Ordos Group's development over 40 years, we thrived in the first decade in the spring breeze of reform and opening-up; the second decade relied on market orientation and brand building to become an industry benchmark; in the third decade, we built a circular industry chain for coal, electricity, metallurgy, chemicals, etc. in response to the call for development in the western part of the country. Now that the Party and the state are strategically positioned in Inner Mongolia as “two bases,” I understand that the new mission is for the cashmere industry to warm tens of millions of herders and to brighten up the future for the electric power and metallurgy industry.
Our cashmere industry is very unique. It is probably unique in the world. We have 100% of our own entire industry chain. We should give full play to this industrial advantage, use scientific and technological innovation to drive industrial innovation, use industrial innovation and upgrading, and then empower herders and herders to form a good positive cycle. Thus, a warm picture of rural revitalization, sustainable industrial development, and the symbiosis and integration of upstream and downstream enterprises is constructed.
Furthermore, when it comes to the power metallurgy industry, our new energy can achieve 100% local consumption, providing green energy alternatives to our downstream metallurgy, chemical, logistics and other industries through smart microgrids. Therefore, we have also built a clean, green, and technological circular economy industrial base. I believe that the national strategy has anchored a good direction for enterprise development. Through the practice of the Ordos Group for more than 40 years, we feel that the enterprise develops due to the development of the country and is strong and powerful because of the country's strength. Even in traditional industries, if we can rely on innovation to continuously upgrade the industry, we can build a century-old store. Thank you.
Liu Baiqi:
I'm an aerospace entrepreneur. As an astronaut, I think there are a lot of exciting moments like this where we feel “much can be done” and “just in time.” Today I want to share two things with you. First, on November 7, 2020, Ceres 1, the first product independently developed by Galaxy Power, made a successful first flight at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This is the first time that China has used a private enterprise rocket to launch a commercial satellite into a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. At the time, I was sitting in the monitoring and control hall, and saw the rocket take off, heard a phrase like “the rocket is flying normally,” and finally saw the satellite smoothly and smoothly separated from the rocket. The moment the launch center announced that “the launch mission was a complete success,” we were very excited and knew we were on the right path of commercial space. I also believe that with the support of national policies, commercial space will have great potential in the future.
Let me share another matter. On June 18 of this year, the Securities Regulatory Commission introduced a new policy to establish a science and innovation growth layer on the Science and Technology Innovation Board to include commercial space in the fifth set of standards. I think this isn't just me; all commercial space entrepreneurs are happy, encouraged, and very excited. Looking ahead to the future of the private economy, I am particularly confident. The country is paying more and more attention to the development of the private economy, and the policy environment is constantly being optimized, creating a broad space for us. Private enterprises are playing an increasing role in scientific and technological innovation. In the commercial space sector, more and more private enterprises are joining this industry, which has jointly promoted the rapid development of the commercial space industry. I believe that under the leadership of the Party, private enterprises will be able to move to a wider stage if they insist on seeking truth, pragmatism, integrity and innovation. Thank you.
Liu Changyun:
Thank you to the reporter for the question. I will discuss my feelings on this issue. There is much to be done, showing that this era gives our private entrepreneurs a broad space for development; at the right time, it also calls for us to shoulder our historical responsibilities. There is much to be done, thanks to three aspects: First, strong policies. The country's attention and support for the private economy, from top-level design to implementation, is unprecedented, and our macroeconomic policies are being adjusted and intensified according to the situation. Second, the market is huge. China has the most potential consumer market in the world. As far as the pharmaceutical sector is concerned, the current market size is close to 5 trillion dollars. With the upgrading of health consumption, the market will expand further. Third, technological empowerment. Currently, digitalization and artificial intelligence are reshaping the development pattern of the pharmaceutical industry. I believe that technology-centered transformation is the key for our companies to build new quality productivity and cultivate core competitiveness.
Looking forward to the future, along with the continued release of various policy dividends, the private economy will have a better tomorrow, policy support will be more stable and long-term, market capacity will continue to expand, and the vitality of innovation will become stronger and stronger. Thank you.
Daily Economic News Reporter:
As the leader of Kyushu Express, a leading private pharmaceutical distribution company, Mr. Liu Changyun, do you think private enterprises should use their entrepreneurial spirit to drive the decline in pharmaceutical resources and better serve primary care needs? Thank you.
Liu Changyun:
Thank you to the reporter for the question. Our main position at Kyushu Street is to serve rural and remote areas at the grassroots level. The primary care service you just mentioned is one of our group's main service areas. Combining so many years of experience, I think there are the following aspects:
First, be willing to do this. This requires national feelings, as well as responsibility. Why do you say that? As for primary care, many places are remote areas. There are a few very real problems when providing services: First, the distance is quite long, and delivery is quite difficult. In central cities, when choosing medical services, ordinary people have many brands, many manufacturers, and many quality regulations, so there is more room for choice. However, ordinary people at the grassroots level have relatively limited space to choose. When we do services at the grassroots level, we are very far away. I was very impressed. At the time, I and my team went to deliver medicine to the customer in Xinjiang, and it took almost a day from the company to the customer, and the journey was quite bumpy in some places during this process. There are also places that are more remote. Sometimes you may have to rent horses or even use shoulder to shoulder to deliver medicine to customers. Second, profits are low and costs are high. Because orders at the grassroots level are scattered, and the amount of each order is not large, and the journey is relatively long, sometimes it may be necessary to invest in additional equipment such as cold chain and temperature control to help customers preserve medicines. The cost is very high when calculated this way. On the other hand, because most of the medicines we deliver are essential drugs, the gross profit itself is relatively low. From a cost perspective, it's impossible to calculate the accounts; there is a loss. Third, it is difficult to gather all kinds of drugs. Some drugs that are usually used less often may be because there is less market demand, and some manufacturers are unwilling to produce and sell such drugs. However, these drugs are critical to the grassroots, and they need to meet demand regardless of sales volume or cost.
Second, you must have the ability to do this. You can't do this porcelain job without King Kong Diamonds. Our company has been working hard in this area since its inception, and after more than 20 years of layout, we now have this ability. Currently, there are more than 400 modern logistics centers across the country. We have established offices in remote areas, and we also have 56,000 grassroots distribution personnel. Now, as service demand increases, we are also continuously using digitalization and artificial intelligence technology to improve delivery efficiency and service levels.
Third, there must be a long-term approach. We now invest hundreds of millions of dollars in grass-roots service facilities and digitalization every year. In the short term, the return of such a large investment is not obvious. But we're still willing to keep doing this. As the Healthy China Strategy progresses, the primary care market will get better and better. More importantly, meeting the medical service needs of ordinary people at the grassroots level is the driving force for enterprise development, and it is also our corporate social responsibility. In the future, we will continue to do this well for a long time. Thank you.
New Yellow River Client Reporter:
Currently, China's commercial space industry is booming. Why did the representative Liu Baiqi choose the commercial space circuit? What motivates you to dream of space? What are your expectations and plans for the future? Thank you.
Liu Baiqi:
The commercial aerospace industry is an emerging industry that is booming around the world. This industry is a special industry that can combine an entrepreneur's entrepreneurial dream with the country's economic development and even the common destiny of mankind. It is also an industry worth entrusting astronauts for a lifetime. In 2014, China introduced policies to encourage private capital and social forces to engage in aerospace research and production activities, and strongly support the development of commercial aerospace. As an astronaut, I particularly cherish the country's policy opportunities to open up commercial aerospace to private enterprises. At the same time, I also saw that the future commercial aerospace market has very broad prospects. In 2018, I decided to set out from my dream and establish Galaxy Power.
I have two ideas about the future.
Second, we are expanding other businesses based on rocket technology. For example, in the fields of expanding in-orbit services and in-orbit tests, we are planning to jointly develop space tourism business with some partners. We hope to have the opportunity to participate in major projects such as national deep space exploration, use our technology to expand more commercial business, and make more contributions to the high-quality development of commercial space in China. Thank you.
Hong Kong South China Morning Post Reporter:
Mr. Wang Xingxing, what do you think are the differences between China and the US in terms of the development of humanoid robots? What is the key for the humanoid robot industry to reach mass production? How can we achieve better commercialization? Thank you.
Wang Xingxing:
Regarding the development direction of humanoid robot technology and the direction of product development, the world's common goals are similar. Since each country has different cultural and industrial backgrounds, for example, China has deep manufacturing and hardware skills, and the US has a rich AI software ecosystem, each with its own advantages, and is worth everyone's joint promotion and cooperation.
Currently, we want a more open cooperative ecosystem. Our company has done a lot of open source software in the past, including many customers who have developed and applied a lot on our robots. This is part of what I am most happy and proud of, to jointly promote the development of the entire industry. In particular, robots and AI are currently facing great challenges, and global efforts are needed to promote this matter. This is the most worth doing. Let's work together to improve technology and products to provide better services to the world. Thank you.
Xinhua News Agency Reporter:
With the continuous adjustment of China's economic structure and industrial upgrading, may I ask Ms. Wang Zhen what opportunities and challenges does your industry face? As a young entrepreneur, how are you and your business coping with these challenges?
Wang Zhen:
Thank you to this reporter. Currently, our industry is undergoing a period of deep transformation, and the challenges are multifaceted. On the one hand, it comes from a raging wave of technological revolution, and on the other hand, it is facing a reshaping of the global industrial chain. On the market side, we face increasingly superimposed, iterative, and increasingly diverse consumer demands. Just like an A on a digital axis has -A, I think these challenges are also opportunities. From a broad perspective, the core of development is actually to achieve high-quality development through innovation and system upgrading. Innovation includes technological innovation, management innovation, and market innovation; we need to integrate all of these. In the case of cashmere fashion, from the source of the prairie, we set up 4 top laboratories at the original ranch, which are responsible for grassland climate and soil research, population protection for breeding goats, animal welfare and scientific breeding research, fiber tracking, and testing, and have truly achieved industry-university-research collaboration. At the same time, we deeply connect community herders, so that herdsmen can increase their income, protect grassland and sheep breeds, and at the same time receive higher quality cashmere.
When it comes to manufacturing, innovation scenarios are even richer. In the dyeing process, we studied traditional dyeing in the past. Plant dyeing began ten or twenty years ago. Some time ago, we successfully used microbial dyeing to dye cashmere and textiles on a large scale. Our microbial dyeing is also at the cutting edge of the world. It can perfectly preserve the natural quality and excellent properties of cashmere, increase the ecological added value of the product, and lead the transformation of the industry to a healthier and more friendly direction. Our production chain is so long, but the possibilities for innovation are limitless.
When it comes to the market side, it's important to do consumer insight. Now it can be said that the cultural attributes of a brand are becoming more and more prominent. I think culture is not necessarily about “shape,” but “god,” but about its connotation and heritage. Nowadays, young people are fascinated by many things; they are very unique and assertive. Whether it is possible to imagine the future, the ultimate voice of fashion is probably not under the spotlight on the runway, but hidden in the roots of culture. I think China's cultural confidence is being transformed into industrial confidence.
When it comes to the channel side, the changes on the channel side are disruptive and huge. Online and offline are already deeply intertwined and mutually empowering. This kind of integration has improved the overall efficiency of the entire channel system and product system. In terms of operation, the perception of market feedback requires clothing companies to have a deeper understanding and application of digital intelligence in order to gain new vitality.
Finally, we need to focus on consumers so that consumers can get better experiences and services. Having said so much, the underlying logic is to go from adapting to change to creating change, encouraging and learning from everyone. Thank you.
Dazhong News Dazhong Daily Reporter:
Along with the development of more than 40 years of reform and opening-up, the issue of enterprise inheritance and development has received great attention from society. Excuse me, entrepreneurs train the younger generation of managers. In addition to professional skills, what values or experiences would you most like to pass on? Thank you.
Zhang Bo:
I believe the 5 people in this room are probably better suited to answer this question. Speaking of heritage, I took over the baton from my parents in 2018 to run this corporate group. Prior to that, I had been working with my father for almost 20 years. I joined the group in 1999. For me, what did I inherit after taking over? I think what I have inherited is not only the wealth and power of my parents, but also the homeland feelings and hard work style of the entrepreneurs of my father's generation. This is also the core driving force that has supported me to lead the new board of directors through all the obstacles and seek high-quality development over the years. After I have this heritage, I especially hope that the next generation of young managers can pass on our genes and remember their original intentions.
Weiqiao Venture Group's core values are “starting a business for the country and benefiting the people”. Our corporate mission is to serve the country with industry and become a strong country in manufacturing. I hope that the younger generation of managers must inherit this spiritual undertone, keep in mind where they come from and where they want to go, and not forget their original intentions and forge ahead. We must not only manage our enterprise well, but also operate the enterprise well; we must also be responsible for the Party and the country, society, and employees, and persevere in fulfilling the social responsibilities of the enterprise. Of course, there is also a work style of hard work, which I hope our younger generation of managers will pass on. I believe that only by passing on the feelings of home country and the style of hard work can we support the younger generation of managers to meet all challenges and difficulties and build a century-old enterprise. Thank you.
Wang Zhen:
Let me talk about my own personal feelings. When it comes to heritage, what has been passed on is entrepreneurship. For me, the biggest influence on me was my parents' lofty ideals and perseverance to settle down in Aoyama. No matter when, I dare to take the lead and forge ahead. No matter how many difficulties I encounter, I believe that things are man-made and do everything possible to solve them. This spirit is particularly inspiring to me. Sometimes I think that many enterprises in the west can grow all the way from such a remote region to the present day. Perhaps only by thinking about their own affairs, but also thinking and acting on an industry, region, or even at the national level can they succeed all the way to the present day.
For example, the cashmere industry is a painstaking and painstaking industry. It is linked to the livelihoods of tens of millions of herders on the one hand, and to the beautiful lives of the masses on the other. China is the core and one of the best cashmer-producing countries. Chinese enterprises must play a leading role and must not give up our raw material advantages. What I feel is a firm belief and a spirit of hard work. When we can closely integrate enterprise development with the prosperity and strength of the country, the revitalization of the nation, and the happiness of the people, we will gain great potential for development. Thank you.
Japan Asahi News Reporter:
Please ask Mr. Wang Xingxing of Yushu Technology. With the development of AI and other technologies, humanoid robots are being applied more and more widely. What is the future of humanoid robots and humans depicted by Yushu Technology? What kind of development roadmap is there? How do you see the impact of current anti-globalization trends such as increased tariffs and supply chain decoupling on your company? How will your company develop in this context? Thank you.
Wang Xingxing:
Our company has always believed that general-purpose robots along with general AI will become the mainstream route for future technology. In recent years, everyone has noticed that humanoid robots are very popular at home and abroad, and everyone has invested a lot of energy in their development. Needless to say, the industry is currently in a relatively early stage, so you can be patient. I personally think that in the next 3 to 5 years, humanoid robots will be applied more and more rapidly. Currently, there are some application scenarios. Many domestic and foreign companies, including our company, have seen a marked increase in humanoid robot shipments, and rescue and disaster relief scenarios in the service industry, household use, industrial scenarios, and dangerous scenarios. Currently, I can't say that it will be very fast. All of a sudden, large-scale application and large-scale promotion will take some time, but I think it's still very fast. In fact, humanoid robots are currently very challenging, and global efforts are needed to promote this matter, including our company. I think it is a very valuable thing to use everyone's strengths to jointly promote the advancement of humanoid robot technology and promote the development of the entire industry. A win-win situation around the world can be achieved. Thank you.
Pengpai News Reporter:
Recently, we have noticed that all entrepreneurs have been selected for the 6th National Public List of Non-public Economists and Outstanding Builders of the Socialist Cause with Chinese Characteristics. May I ask entrepreneurs, what characteristics do you think an excellent builder should have? How can the new era and new journey be combined with one's work to better inherit and promote the entrepreneurial spirit? Thank you.
Liu Baiqi:
I believe that excellent builders should have a firm political position, have a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, and have a high sense of social responsibility. First, only by having a firm political position can an enterprise's own development be closely integrated with the national strategy and correctly understood the country's guidelines and policies, then an enterprise can achieve good development. Second, as an excellent builder, you should have an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. Only by daring to break through traditions, break through, and dare to innovate can an enterprise achieve sustainable development. Finally, in the development process, enterprises should consider their own development interests on the one hand, and should also actively contribute to society.
Speaking of myself, in the new era and new journey, I lead the team to continue to innovate rocket technology, develop more advanced rocket technology, continue to reduce space launch costs, improve space launch capabilities, and hope to provide more valuable space launch services to the Chinese space market. At the same time, we are actively fulfilling our social responsibilities. Our company held the “Galaxy Cup” youth spacecraft concept design competition to spread the spirit of space and popularize space knowledge through this event. We hope to cultivate more space talents for the country through our activities and implement the spirit of entrepreneurship through our practical actions. Thank you.
Liu Changyun:
I would also like to answer this question. Thanks to the reporter for the question. I think the core characteristics should have three aspects: First, we must have a firm political position and cultivate feelings for our country. As an outstanding builder, we must first support the Party's leadership, integrate enterprise development into the national strategy, and internalize social responsibility into the genes of corporate culture. Second, we must focus on contextual growth and pursue high-quality development. Currently, the country is promoting new quality productivity. As physical enterprises, we also need to use “quality” to replace extensive growth with innovation. Third, enterprises must operate legally, and entrepreneurs must be honest and self-disciplined. Law-abiding management is the lifeblood of an enterprise, and honesty and self-discipline are a passport for enterprise development. These are not only basic requirements for private entrepreneurs, but also a reflection of an enterprise's core competitiveness.
As a private entrepreneur in the new era, I think there are several paths to how to practice and promote entrepreneurship. The first is to use innovation engines to build new quality productivity and shoulder the responsibility for self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology. This is the hard core responsibility of the builders of the new era. The second is to practice common prosperity and strengthen the foundation for student development. Kyushu Express has launched the “Little Medicine Box” project in Xinjiang. We are implementing our social responsibility by participating in basic medical insurance systems at the primary level and in rural areas. Thank you.
Nine News Reporters:
The manufacturing industry is the foundation of a nation and the foundation of a strong nation. May I ask Mr. Zhang Bo, in the context of promoting new industrialization, which paths should traditional manufacturing enterprises take to break through development bottlenecks? What are your suggestions for private enterprises to achieve high-quality development? Thank you.
Zhang Bo:
The traditional manufacturing industry needs to achieve transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development. In particular, in the context of new industrialization, how to promote the high-quality development of the traditional manufacturing industry, we have also crossed the river, suffered, and experienced sweetness over the years. We've summarized three practical paths:
The first is green and low-carbon development, which responds to the country's call for high-quality development. The future development path of enterprises must first achieve green and low-carbon development. This poses great challenges to traditional manufacturing industries, such as the aluminum industry sector. Because of its production characteristics, it is a high-energy industry. How to make a high-energy industry achieve a green and low-carbon transformation is a big challenge. In addition to transferring part of our production capacity to Yunnan and using hydropower for production, we have deployed a large amount of photovoltaic solar power generation in Shandong to increase the share of green electricity in Shandong's local production capacity. At the same time, efforts have also been made in industrial transformation to develop a circular economy and develop recycled aluminum. As you may know, because of the characteristics of aluminum, it can be recycled many times, but the second time you use it, the energy consumption is only 5% of the first production. Therefore, carbon emissions and energy consumption can also be greatly reduced through recycled aluminum. Therefore, the first path is to pursue green and low-carbon development.
The second is to actively promote the transformation of digital intelligence. Artificial intelligence and AI technology are now being iterated very rapidly, bringing great opportunities to the traditional manufacturing industry. Using our rich application scenarios, combined with advanced artificial intelligence technology, we can comprehensively upgrade and transform the traditional manufacturing industry. For example, in the textile sector, more than a dozen green intelligent chemical plants have been built in the past few years. Compared with traditional production models, energy consumption has been reduced by 40%. Everyone knows that the textile industry is now relatively difficult to operate. Since we have achieved intelligent transformation, costs have been greatly reduced and the competitiveness of the enterprise textile sector has been enhanced. At the same time, the aluminum sector was the first in the world to introduce AI technology into the electrolytic aluminum production process, using a “smart brain” to replace manual empirical judgment, greatly improving production efficiency and equipment utilization, and drastically reducing energy consumption. If the traditional manufacturing industry wants to break through development bottlenecks, the second path is digital transformation.
The third is innovation-driven. In addition to product innovation and process innovation in the traditional sense, there are also innovative acts brought about by the company's endogenous motivation, including our cooperation with universities, colleges, and scientific research institutions to establish national technology centers. These are all jobs in the internal vitality of the enterprise. Artificial intelligence and big data will also bring us innovation in business models and management models, so enterprises must not only actively implement innovations in some product processes, but also actively embrace artificial intelligence, promote innovation in management models and ways of thinking, and drive organizational structure reforms. We need to fully meet the requirements of digital intelligence. The biggest challenge in the traditional manufacturing industry is the reform of the original organizational system.
These are the three practical paths we've outlined. As far as the traditional manufacturing industry is concerned, to achieve high-quality development and break through some development bottlenecks, it is very difficult to accumulate and develop. However, I believe that the country has provided a very broad development stage for private enterprises. As long as we have firm confidence in development, have the courage to innovate, be down-to-earth, and really work hard, I believe our private enterprises will definitely be able to develop with high quality. Thank you.
