Since its launch in 2023, it has sold 82 million cups; after returning to the shelves on July 3, it once again sold over 2.1 million cups in 8 days, quickly becoming the top seller in the Cha Baidao Fruit Tea category in the country. According to Cha Baidao's official Weibo account, green tea jasmine uses sunshine rose green tea as an ingredient. Every day, fresh green tea is peeled and seeds removed by the store staff one by one. Each cup contains about 11 fresh green tea leaves. On social media platforms, many netizens posted fresh photos of green tea taken at the Chabaidao store, as well as a “complaint” from the Chabaidao store staff: “It took 2 hours to peel the green tea, ordered 10 green tea jasmine in 1 minute, and instantly used it all up.”

Since the beginning of summer, fresh fruit tea drinks have continued to be popular as the weather gets hotter. In the past two months, Cha Baidao has successively launched various fresh fruit drinks that focus on real fruit flesh, such as lychee and melon, all of which have achieved good sales. According to a research report recently released by Huaxin Securities, Chabaidao forms a product matrix with three segments: classic products, seasonal products, and regional products, and can achieve “same-day delivery” for cold chain distribution based on its nationwide supply chain layout covering 31 provinces and regions across the country, supporting 25 storage centers and over 300 three-temperature delivery vehicles.

The person in charge of Cha Baidao product said that the raw material for green tea jasmine this time was Sunshine Rose Green Tea from excellent production areas such as Binchuan in Yunnan and Xichang in Sichuan. It requires a single fruit weight of at least 6 grams and a sugar content of at least 15 degrees. Immediately after receipt from the place of origin, it is sent to stores nationwide using a refrigerated logistics vehicle at 5 degrees Celsius to ensure the fresh, crispy and tender taste of green tea.
