The evacuees were 31 residents of Akushi Island and 15 residents of Kobara Island, for a total of 46 people. The local area is currently adopting the principle of voluntary evacuation. As of the 6th, Akuseki Island still had 23 residents, and Kobara Island still had 41 residents. If there are still residents who want to leave in the future, the local government will consider carrying out a third batch of evacuations. On the morning of the 4th local time, the first batch of 13 islanders from Akshi Island in the Togara Islands took refuge outside the island by boat.
