From July 1 to 2, the 31st meeting of the Sino-Russian Joint Border Commission was held in Moscow. The meeting was co-chaired by Zhou Hongyou, Counsellor of the Department of Border and Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Russian Foreign Ministry ambassador Kozlov. Representatives from foreign affairs, defense, customs, water conservancy, immigration and other departments and local governments of the two countries attended the conference. The meeting was held in a friendly, honest and constructive atmosphere. The two sides highly praised the development of bilateral relations and the implementation of the Sino-Russian Border Management System Agreement, fully affirmed the good trend of clear and stable borders between China and Russia and the continuous deepening of border-related cooperation in various fields. They agreed to actively implement the consensus of the heads of state of China and Russia, continue to play the role of the Joint Commission mechanism, strengthen border management, promote border-related cooperation, and contribute to the development of bilateral relations. After the meeting, the two sides signed the minutes of the 31st meeting of the Sino-Russian Joint Border Commission.
