The Baltic Sea Dry Bulk Freight Price Index fell 32 points, or 2.1%, to 1,521 points, the lowest level since June 4. The cumulative decline of the index was more than 8% this week. The cape-type shipping price index fell 125 points, or 5.3%, to 2,220 points. The freight rate index has been falling for nine consecutive trading days, with a cumulative decline of 18.5% this week. The average daily profit of cape-type ships fell by $1,039 to $18,408. The Panamanian Shipping Price Index rose 22 points, or 1.5%, to 1,490 points, for the fifth consecutive trading day. The index has accumulated an increase of more than 8% this week. The average daily profit of Panama-type ships rose by 196 US dollars to 13,410 US dollars. The ultra-convenient shipping price index rose 9 points, or 0.9%, to 1009 points.
