100% Of This ME Group International Insider's Holdings Were Sold

Insiders were net sellers of ME Group International plc's (LON:MEGP ) stock during the past year. That is, insiders sold more stock than they bought.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

ME Group International Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Non-Executive Director, Jean-Marc Janailhac, sold UK£366k worth of shares at a price of UK£1.84 per share. That means that even when the share price was below the current price of UK£2.30, an insider wanted to cash in some shares. When an insider sells below the current price, it suggests that they considered that lower price to be fair. That makes us wonder what they think of the (higher) recent valuation. Please do note, however, that sellers may have a variety of reasons for selling, so we don't know for sure what they think of the stock price. We note that the biggest single sale was 100% of Jean-Marc Janailhac's holding. Jean-Marc Janailhac was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.
