People familiar with the matter said last month that the bank would hire Citigroup trader Theodoros Giatrakos to join its London financial sponsor team. The bank also hired Fredrik Weege from Goldman Sachs Group to lead its team of financial sponsors in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, according to an internal memorandum last week.
