The Georgia Poti Port multimodal container yard constructed by China Railway 23 Group Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation on the 9th. According to information, the project is located in the core area of Poti Port and covers an area of 7.8 hectares. The construction includes container storage sites, special refrigerated storage areas, railway lines, customs checkpoints and supporting fire protection facilities. The annual design and processing capacity is 80,000 TEUs, which can meet the growing demand for freight transport across the Caspian Sea international transport corridor.
