According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, in the first five months of this year, the number of foreign-funded enterprises with import and export performance in China exceeded 73,000, the highest in the same period in five years. The total import and export volume was 5.21 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.3% over the previous year, accounting for 29% of China's total import and export value, driving China's overall import and export growth of 0.7 percentage points during the same period. Among them, foreign enterprises imported and exported 1.11 trillion yuan in May, an increase of 4% over the previous year, and the monthly import and export value continued to grow for 4 consecutive months.
