The Zhitong Finance App learned that from June 2 to 8, a creative feast spanning time and space was staged simultaneously at the world's five major city landmarks. Kling AI (Kling AI), a subsidiary of Kuaishou (01024), created the world's first user-created AI creative short film, which officially appeared at five major landmarks in the world, including Nanjing East Road in Shanghai, China; the Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, Japan; Opéra Street in Paris, France; and Dundas Plaza in Toronto, Canada, showcasing works by Keling AI creators from many countries and regions around the world.

In April of this year, Keling AI launched the “Inspiration Comes True” Tour Global Creative Short Film Contest with the aim of collaborating with AIGC creators from around the world to create this landmark work. The response to the event was overwhelming. In just one month, creators from more than 60 countries around the world participated actively, and more than 2,000 works were submitted. Participants have diverse backgrounds, covering different occupations such as teachers, advertising designers, digital artists, cartoonists, product managers, etc. They gathered on the Keling AI platform because of their love for creation.

Today, these inspirations, nurtured by creators from around the world, are shining on the giant screen of five world-class landmarks:

Shanghai-Nanjing East Road is known as the century-old legendary heart of the “China Business First Street” and bears witness to the exuberant vitality of the Chinese economy; Hong Kong's Causeway Bay SOGO has the largest outdoor screen in Hong Kong and is the “urban totem” of global business culture; Tokyo's Shibuya is the “world's busiest crossroads” energy field, swallowing trendy young culture every minute; Paris's landmark is located on Opera Street, close to the Paris Opera House; Toronto's Dundas Plaza has the “largest electronic electronic screen in North America” hub A super digital stage for information and creativity.

When pedestrians from all over the world stopped in front of these iconic landmarks to enjoy and take photos to share the works of these ordinary creators, a Keling AI creator excitedly said, “This is an amazing feeling. My work actually 'went abroad' one step ahead of me and stood in front of the world's art world!” At this moment, a true “global creative festival” brought the dreams of countless ordinary creators into reality, and the light of their inspiration illuminated world landmarks.

On the occasion of the screening of a global landmark, Keling AI also reached an important milestone in its first year of launch. In just 365 days, with strong product power and a thriving creator ecosystem, Keling AI has rapidly grown into a leading global video generation model. According to the latest report on AI model usage trends for the spring of 2025 by Poe, a world-renowned large-scale model integration application platform, in the Wensheng video field, Kuaishou Keling's various video generation models have rapidly risen, accounting for about 30% of the user share, ahead of Runway and Google's Veo2. The latest Keling 2.1 model launched at the end of May includes standard (720p) and high quality (1080p) models. It has obvious advantages in terms of cost performance and can meet the cost control needs of different users.

The continued leading position stems from Keling AI's excellent product iteration capabilities. Since its launch in June 2024, the platform has completed more than 20 major feature updates. Strong growth data confirms its global influence: up to now, the number of global users of Keling AI has surpassed 22 million. From the beginning of June 2024 to April 2025, the number of monthly active users increased by an astonishing 25 times, generating more than 168 million videos and 344 million images. If these videos were played continuously for 5 seconds, the total length would span almost 27 years.

Behind this massive creative achievement is the continuous co-creation and support of over 22 million users around the world. With its outstanding performance in dimensions such as dynamic quality, semantic understanding, and visual aesthetics, Keling AI efficiently empowers creators to turn inspiration into reality. At the same time, the platform has built an open, friendly, and high-quality interactive community, which not only provides a display stage for creators, but also promotes technical exchange and common growth among users around the world.

Keling AI continues to help creators move to a wider stage through strategic cooperation and support programs. In December 2024, Keling AI collaborated with 9 top directors including Li Shaohong, Jia Zhangke, Ye Jintian, Xue Xiaolu, and Yu Baimei to launch the industry's first “AIGC Director Co-Creation Program” to explore the path of AI creators participating in the film industry in depth for the first time. The “Keling AI NextGen New Video Venture Capital Program” launched in April 2025 further promises to invest tens of millions of dollars and provide global publicity, IP creation, and multiple cooperation models (wholly-owned production, joint production, technical support) to fully stimulate the creative potential of AI. With the continuous promotion of Keling AI, more and more AIGC creators are participating in the creation of professional industries such as film, television production, advertising, and games.

This Global Landmark Exhibition was not only a grand “Global Creative Festival”, but also an intercultural dialogue using the works of ordinary people as carriers. The works appeared in a very different style: anime full of Japanese passion, oriental zen aesthetics, imagining a future world in the sky... Creators from different cultural backgrounds, languages, and occupations have gathered their imagination into a borderless visual picture with the help of AI. This also fits perfectly with Keling AI's vision of “enabling everyone to use AI to tell good stories”. Driven by the big video model represented by Keling AI, a new era of “national AI directors” has begun, giving every ordinary person the opportunity to become the “next generation director” and create visually stunning works.
