Voting for South Korea's 21st presidential election officially began at 6:00 local time on June 3. There are a total of 14,295 polling stations across South Korea. Voters who did not participate in early voting can vote at designated polling stations with their ID. Voting will end at 20:00 local time on the same day. A total of 7 candidates registered as candidates for this general election with Korea's Central Election Administration Commission, but two of them announced their withdrawal and indicated that they would support Kim Moon-soo, candidate of the National Power Party. As a result, voters will elect a new president from five candidates. The five candidates are: Common Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung; National Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo; Reform New Party candidate Lee Joon-seok; Democratic Labour Party candidate Human Rights Britain; and non-party candidate Song Jin-ho.
