The reporter learned from China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd. on June 1 that as of May 31, the number of trains passing through the “East Corridor” between China and Europe had exceeded 2,000 in the first five months of this year. The “East Corridor” of China-Europe trains consists of Manzhouli, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang railway ports. Up to now, there are 27 routes, which can reach 14 countries including Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands, and connect more than 60 cities in China, including Changsha, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, and Suzhou. Transportation goods cover 12 major categories, including electrical products, daily necessities, agricultural and sideline products. With advantages such as all-weather, high-volume traffic, green and low-carbon, smooth flow and safety, it has strongly guaranteed the stability and smooth flow of the international industrial chain supply chain, and has become an important vehicle for connectivity and mutual benefit between China and the “Belt and Road” countries.
