Alibaba Group Chairman Cai Chongxin said that Asian companies can seek growth from inter-Asian opportunities and the European market. Cai Chongxin also stated at a science and technology conference in Macau, China on Saturday that “some governments are trying to tear down this bridge we have built between Asia and the rest of the world.” Tsai Chung-shin told the audience at Beyond Expo, “There are actually plenty of opportunities for commercial activities and participation within Asia, especially between East Asian countries, East Asia and Southeast Asia, and eventually expand to South Asia.” He added that Europe is a “rare opportunity” for Asian companies.
