On the same day, the Central and Eastern European product procurement signing event was held. More than 60 companies from all over the country and Central and Eastern European countries participated. A total of 24 projects were signed at the event. The orders covered mineral procurement, pet health products, ski equipment, juice, alcohol and other categories. The total number of signed projects reached 2.49 billion yuan, of which 10 were signed on site. Zhang Ping, director of the Ningbo Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, said that in recent years, Ningbo has concentrated on building “three preferred places” for bilateral trade, two-way investment cooperation, and cultural exchanges between China and Central and Eastern European countries. Jointly explore investment and cooperation opportunities in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce, and low-altitude economy; continue to unleash the huge potential for cooperation between the two sides in renewable energy and clean energy, and create more mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation benchmarks. Ningbo will also continue to create a market-based, rule-of-law, and international first-class business environment, innovate and facilitate measures, expand bilateral trade, and create a “golden channel” for products from Central and Eastern Europe to enter China.
