As a landmark project of the “Belt and Road” initiative between China and Latin America, the “Qiankai-Shanghai” shipping route has been growing steadily since the opening of the “Qiankai-Shanghai” shipping route in December last year. According to statistics from Shanghai Customs, in the first four months of this year, a total of 48 liner cruises were carried out, importing and exporting 41,000 tons of goods, with a value of 1.02 billion yuan. Driven by this route, the value of Shanghai's foreign trade imports and exports to Peru increased sharply by more than 60%.
