Recently, the 1st Guangxi Artificial Intelligence+ Low Altitude Transportation Technology Conference and Application Scenario Skills Competition was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Representatives from universities, enterprises, industry associations, and research institutes from many parts of the country gathered to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as innovative application of AI technology in the field of low-altitude transportation, low-altitude transportation infrastructure construction, and collaborative industrial ecology development. With the development of artificial intelligence and low-altitude traffic technology, functions such as AI+ drone rescue and AI+ drone search have been realized. The low-altitude economy empowered by artificial intelligence has more ways to solve problems and more room for development, and has also put forward new requirements for colleges and universities to train talents. Currently, artificial intelligence and low-altitude economy industries are developing rapidly, and local governments are “showing ingenuity” in terms of policy support, etc., and many enterprises are also optimistic about this blue ocean. Wei Chu, dean of the School of Applied Economics at Renmin University of China, suggested that to develop artificial intelligence and a low-altitude economy, the government and enterprises should have a longer-term perspective, and at the same time strengthen communication between the government and enterprises to promote healthy industrial development.
