China is carrying out the first aerial survey of marine glaciers at the Renlongba Glacier in Tibet. This survey uses helicopter aerial geophysical prospecting technology, and is equipped with a self-developed aerial gravity meter and a modified aerial ice radar to achieve large-scale efficient measurement of regional glacier thickness. Compared with traditional ground operations, aerial exploration has advantages such as large detection range and tight point spacing. It can measure the internal structure and thickness of glaciers more accurately, and provides important technical support for research on glaciers, mineral resources, and geological structures. The accuracy of the aeronautical gravity meter has reached the world-class level, and the size is compact, which adapts to the needs of high-altitude areas.
