From May 5 to 6, local time, a joint African Union-IGAD delegation visited South Sudan to discuss the changing political and security situation and the current state of the peace process with the South Sudanese authorities and key stakeholders. The visit was led by African Union Commission Chairman Yusuf and IGAD Deputy Executive Secretary Mohammed Abdi Weir.
