The military congress of the Political Affairs Department of the Central Military Commission decided to remove Miao Hua from the post of deputy to the 14th National People's Congress. The Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Jilin Province decided to accept Liu Huawen's resignation as a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress. According to the relevant provisions of the “Law of the People's Republic of China on Deputies to the National People's Congress and Local People's Congresses at All Levels”, the representative qualifications of Jiang Chaoliang, Ding Xiongjun, Miao Hua, and Liu Huawen were terminated. According to the relevant provisions of the “Election Law of the People's Republic of China for the National People's Congress and Local People's Congresses at All Levels”, Jiang Chaoliang's position as a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress and vice-chairman of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress was accordingly dismissed. Up to now, the 14th National People's Congress actually has 2,925 deputies.
