According to the Hainan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Hainan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Hainan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission opened a case to examine and investigate serious disciplinary violations by Tian Lixia, member of the 8th Hainan Provincial Committee and former secretary of the Dongfang Municipal Commission. After investigation, Tian Lixia violated political discipline and opposed organizational censorship; violated the spirit of the Eight Regulations of the Central Committee, accepted gifts and consumer cards in violation of regulations, and accepted banquets that might affect the impartial execution of official duties; violated integrity discipline and used her authority to obtain benefits for her relatives; violated work discipline and interfered in market economy activities in violation of regulations. They use the convenience of their position to obtain benefits for others in terms of project contracting, etc., and illegally accept huge sums of money. Following discussions at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the CPC Central Committee, it was decided to dismiss Tian Lixia from her party membership; the Hainan Provincial Supervisory Commission dismissed her from public office; terminated her status as a representative of the 8th Hainan Provincial Party Congress and representative of the 14th Party Congress in Dongfang City; and refer her suspected crime to the procuratorial authorities for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law. The dismissal of Tian Lixia from her party membership will be confirmed when the plenary session of the Hainan Provincial Committee is held.
