At the meeting, the BRICS Special Economic Zone China Cooperation Center was officially unveiled, and the China Cooperation Center logo was officially released. This also marks a new stage of institutionalization and platformization of cooperation between China and the BRICS countries in the fields of capacity building, policy exchange, economic and trade cooperation, and standard matchmaking. In the next stage, the China Cooperation Center will adhere to the principle of “altruism, win-win cooperation”, anchor the goal of “laying the foundation in one year, seeing results in two years, and setting a benchmark in three years”, focus on policy exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, capacity building, standards docking, system innovation, comprehensive services, and institutional coordination, and carry out practical work. Through 3 to 5 years of hard work, we aim to basically establish the China Cooperation Center as an important position for economic and trade cooperation and exchange between China and the BRICS countries, an important window for service enterprises to “go global” and “bring in” development, enhance the important engine of collaboration, complementary advantages, and promote cooperation and an important source of strategies to promote innovation and development in the BRICS special economic zones, and become a new platform mechanism for services to further promote a high level of institutional openness.
