The Zhitong Finance App learned that US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) documents show that US President-elect Trump transferred all of his 114.75 million Trump Media Technology Group (DJT.US) shares to the revocable trust Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust on Tuesday. Trump is the sole beneficiary of the trust. Based on Trump Media Technology Group's closing price of $35.41 per share on Thursday, the transfer involved a total share value of over $4 billion.

Affected by this news, as of press release, Trump Media Technology Group's US stocks fell more than 4% before the market on Friday.

The SEC filing states that since Trump is the beneficiary of the trust, he now “indirectly” owns the Trump Media Technology Group shares he transferred. According to reports, Trump has always been the largest individual shareholder of Trump Media Technology Group, with a shareholding ratio close to 57%.

Additionally, Trump's son Donald Trump Jr., is the sole trustee of the trust and has sole voting rights and investment rights in all securities owned by the trust.

It's worth mentioning that before taking office as president for the first time in 2017, Trump made a similar transfer to the same revocable trust. Reports produced by Trump's accounting firm Mazars at the time showed that Trump transferred various real estate, assets, and liabilities to this revocable trust at the time.
