On October 17, some students at Yingpanshan Primary School in Yixiang Town, Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province developed symptoms such as vomiting and abdominal pain, and were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Tested by the Simao District Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and based on on-site epidemiological investigation results, comprehensive case incidence, clinical presentation and laboratory test results, it was initially determined that it was norovirus infection. As of 16:00 on the 18th, there were 18 people who met the case definition, and the symptoms were all mild.
