The Zhitong Finance App learned that Lenovo Group (00992) rose more than 3%. As of press release, it had risen 3.49% to HK$11.28, with a turnover of HK$169 million.

According to the news, on October 16, Lenovo Group announced its vision for the next phase of Smarter AI for All at the Tech World conference and showcased a comprehensive portfolio of artificial intelligence solutions, services and equipment. Among them, it is worth noting that at 2024 Tech World, Lenovo Group Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing and Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun jointly announced that the SC777 model in the Lenovo ThinkSystem server series will be equipped with an NVIDIA (Nvidia) Blackwell Al acceleration card (GPU).

Damo released a research report stating that it is expected that Lenovo Group's PC momentum may continue until the end of this year, and Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Business Group (ISG) may be driven by traditional and AI servers, and will see an increase in December. At the same time, the bank believes that personal computers will also drive an increase in the forecast for the quarter ending in September.

Looking ahead to the December fiscal quarter, Damo believes that Lenovo Group's PC business performance may be superior to that of its peers. As market share continues to increase, the quarterly growth rate may remain flat to a 5% increase. The bank believes that the Group's revenue growth should continue. In particular, Lenovo's AI servers will only start shipping in the quarter ending in September. Coupled with the high AI server mix and huge revenue scale, it is likely that it will reach the level of balance of payments.
